Good news on Vulture Funds legislation?

This is on the Jubilee Debt Campaign website

The Government has just announced that the vultures bill - the Debt Relief (Developing Countries) Bill - will be included in the 'wash-up' which takes place before the General Election. The 'wash up' is a mechanism through which the party whips agree to take forward bills in the final days before a Parliament is dissolved for a General Election.

This means there is cross-party support for taking the bill forward and means it has a real chance of becoming law this week. We will keep reporting on proceedings in Parliament in coming days.

This is heartening. Here's hoping the Bill becomes law despite the actions of the bastard Christopher Chope

This is a comment about the comment you left on Sparkles Sweet-post for the latest Photo-hunt theme.
Please don't write that Sparkle is "A handsome fellow". Sparkle is a girl-cat, female, she-cat or whatever term you would like to use.
I know you get alot done on the PhotoHunt themes. You are indeed good at getting around to commenting on everyone's post. You cover alot of ground. But in this case it is at the price of sloppiness.
Sparkle is a girl cat, even if she looks like a "fellow". She may be a tough girl cat, but a female none the less.
This is not the first time you have left the exact same comment on her PhotoHunt posts.
I hope you take this comment in the spirit that it is meant. You are an amazing blogger; you take great photos and you leave more comments than I ever will have time to do.
You seem to be a good friend of cats too. Your own post was a lovely shot of two cats. You even visited my blog. (By the way, I have given you an extra link, being as you were first to leave a comment on my PH-sweet-post.)
So I am not trying to put you down. This is just a tiny reminder that Sparkle is a girl!
Purrs,
Sara Cat (I'm a girl cat too!)
